Call for Presentations: GlobusWorld 2019 in Chicago
GlobusWorld 2019 has issued its Call for Presentations. The event takes place May 1-2 in Chicago. The event centers around Globus, a secure, reliable research data management service that enables researchers to move, share, publish & discover data via a single interface.
"We’re seeking Globus users, managers and providers to present “lightning talks” at GlobusWorld 2019. Presenters will include research computing leaders, system administrators, and others who use Globus at universities, national supercomputing centers, and other research facilities. Please submit presentation proposals related to the use of Globus for research data management and collaboration, and development of solutions or applications that leverage the Globus platform. Your presentation should emphasize the unique capabilities delivered by your solution and/or the impact of Globus on the research being conducted, with concrete lessons learned, insights and tips that your colleagues in the audience will find useful. We seek both high-level, overview presentations as well as targeted, technical talks focused on more narrow topics."
GlobusWorld brings together researchers, systems administrators, developers and IT leaders from top computing centers, labs and universities around the U.S. The event is designed to provide new insights into managing research data and storage at scale, as well as building and using cutting-edge applications, portals and gateways. The GlobusWorld agenda includes tutorials and presentations, plus opportunities to engage with the Globus team, our partners, and other users to discuss practical experiences and learnings that will help you design and implement solutions that best meet your researchers’ needs.
Submissions are due March 1, 2019.
